The German Business Club Hungary (Deutscher Wirtschaftsclub Ungarn)
The German Business Club Hungary (DWC) was founded in 1992 by 30 German-speaking company leaders based in Hungary, with the purpose of forming a platform for regular, informal meetings in a relaxed club-atmosphere. Since then, club-events take place at least once a month within high standard conditions. At present, more than 200 managers of leading German and Hungarian businesses are members of the Club.
The DWC aims to foster the network between the German-speaking managers in Hungary, on a private as well as on a business level, in order to raise the comfort-feeling of the members in a foreign country. Furthermore, the DWC strives to bring together the actors of business and politics in order to strengthen the dialog between these sectors and in the long run to contribute to the improvement of the Hungarian investment climate.
