{"id":2828,"date":"2021-03-19T17:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-19T16:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gobertadvisors.com\/adossagbehajtas-es-vegrehajtasok-az-eu-ban\/"},"modified":"2021-09-10T09:41:18","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T07:41:18","slug":"adossagbehajtas-es-vegrehajtasok-az-eu-ban","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gobertadvisors.com\/en\/adossagbehajtas-es-vegrehajtasok-az-eu-ban\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross-border debt collection and enforcement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Cross-border debt collection and enforcement<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to inform everyone that if you have a monetary claim or receivables &#8211; with a few exceptions &#8211; against a company or private person, who is not paying the debt voluntarily, but either you or the debtor is resident abroad, it is possible to initiate proceedings for a so-called European Payment Order (EPO), which can be issued by a notary public here, in Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advantage of this procedure is that it is cheaper than a lawsuit to the Court; moreover, if the claim is not disputed by the debtor in time (fails to object it with a statement of opposition), the order issued and it becomes final, effective and enforceable.
